NEW!

We know that when “The Bachelorette” returns for Season 19 on Monday, it will be the first time that two women will be featured. What we don’t know yet is exactly how Rachel Recchia and Gabby Windey are going to approach this, whether the men in this season’s cast will be vying to appeal to one woman or both, or what.

(How to watch: “The Bachelorette” airs at 8 p.m. Mondays on ABC. No cable or antenna? Watch “The Bachelorette” live on fubo TV, which offers a free trial)

When last we saw Rachel and Gabby, they seemed pretty darned annoyed with Clayton Echard, who during Season 26 of “The Bachelor,” claimed that he loved not just Rachel and Gabby, but a third woman, Susie Evans. After a squirm-inducing series of events, in which Clayton told Susie he had been intimate with both Rachel and Gabby, Susie was hurt, Clayton was annoyed, and it all turned into a mess.

Many tears later, Clayton wound up with Susie, and Rachel and Gabby ended up bonding over their shared disappointment with how Clayton bungled everything. Then, in a surprise move, both Rachel and Gabby were announced as stars of the new season of “The Bachelorette.”

Here’s what the ABC description of the Season 19 premiere episode -- oh, and in case you were wondering, Jesse Palmer will be back to host -- promises:

“Gabby Windey and Rachel Recchia’s two-shot at love takes flight! A whopping 32 men arrive to the mansion with the hopes of wooing the ladies with their charm, but they’ll soon realize it’s going to take more than dashing good looks and a memorable entrance to win the heart of one of these Bachelorettes. Rachel and Gabby have put their breakups in the rearview and are ready to find their person … even if that means breaking all the rules on night one. A double-the-drama season for the books begins when “The Bachelorette” premieres.”
