Oregon men’s basketball to face UConn at Phil Knight Invitational in Portland

EUGENE — The Oregon men’s basketball team will play UConn in Portland on Thanksgiving Day as part of the Phil Knight Invitational.

The Ducks and Huskies will meet at 5 p.m., Nov. 24, at the Moda Center on ESPN2.

Oregon will then play either Alabama or Michigan State, who play after the Ducks. The winners of the opening-round games will meet in the semifinals on Nov. 25 at 7 p.m. at Veterans Memorial Coliseum on either ESPN2 or ESPNU, with the losers of the opening-round games meeting at 9:30 p.m.

The PKI bracket, which also includes Iowa State, North Carolina, Portland and Villanova, will conclude on Nov. 27 with the third-place game at 12:30 p.m. at Veterans Memorial Coliseum and the championship game at 7 p.m. at the Moda Center. Both games will air on ESPN. The seventh and fifth-place games will take place at the Chiles Center, with game times and networks to be announced.
